We have issued an update to the system which modified the following:
Update to MERS language
Some users utilize MERS to sell their loans to counterparties who require the use of MERS. There is a feature in Lightning Docs permitting users to insert a Mortgage Identification Number (MIN) into the interview which will populate appropriate MERS language in the Security Instrument and footers throughout the documents.
After consultation with MERS, we have made a series of modifications to the documents to conform to their current standards. No changes are required in the loan interview and users simply need to enter the MIN to produce correct documents.
The MERS feature is not generally available to users as most users do not utilize MERS. If you would like the MERS feature enabled for your loans, please let us know and we are happy to add the feature to your loan interview.
